Witches Night Out

For this adventure, Lucia and I were joined by two additional adventurers to the "Witches Night Out" at Gardner Village. 2011 celebrates the event's 11th year. An estimated 10,000 witches attended the two night event, of which, Lucia and I along with our two fellow adventurers were numbered.
We were privileged to meet a fantastic assortment of witches, and we had to give a "hats off" to the brave men who were few and far between. A few of our favorites included Satan, and Dumbledore...both of which were lovely enough to pose with us for pictures.

Some of our other favorites included witches from the Salem witch trials, the Wicked Witch of the East (complete with house), Day of the Dead Witches, a road construction witch, a few "Breast Cancer Awareness" witches, and the Disco Witch Master of Ceremonies.

The food was AMAZING!! We all had fantastic potato cheese soup, which we all remarked was made divine with the addition of red peppers. Who knew that red peppers would make all the difference?
Lucia and I made friends with a cross-dressed witch who was very enamored with his/her own costume. Apparently, this was his/her first experience with cross-dressing, and he/she was very impressed with the result. He/she was very excited to tell us all about the experience of shaving legs and how smooth he/she felt. It was fantastic!

After the adventure, we all went to a local Denny's in Salt Lake to warm up and discuss our fantastic adventure.

The evening was a success! Another amazing adventure was had in the Salt Lake Valley!
